Question symbolIs there a minimum length of contract for TASS to act as a distribution centre for my company?

In most cases we would expect a minimum of three months but it really depends on the amount of distribution required, i.e. does it require a small van, transit or 7 ½ tonne vehicle? The frequency – daily, weekly etc – is also important. We are very happy to discuss your requirements so that we can tailor a solution that meets your needs.

What is the smallest single item you would deliver under a distribution centre contract?

Generally this would be one pallet but our existing customers know how accommodating we are, and flexible we can be. We have been known to pick and pack for them when required prior to arranging distribution of their goods.

How easily can I have access to my stored goods?

Our normal opening times 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday, but if you need it we will open at other times are by arrangement.

What if something goes wrong? How are you insured?

We pride ourselves on the care and attention we give to your valuable assets so we hope nothing will go wrong. However, we recognise that it’s always possible. Insuring your goods is your responsibility which you can do yourself or we can organise it for you at no extra cost other than the insurance premium. As you would expect we have full public liability insurance cover to the value of £1m should your goods be damaged due to our negligence.

Can TASS receive and unload containers?

We can offer storage in a 20ft container for £40 per week.
